Tyler is 2 weeks old

Tyler is 2 weeks old now and Klayton is 2 years old. We are going to miss Klayton's birthday but we will be there next year. Tyler weighs 3 lbs. 14 oz. He is above his birth weight. He continues to grow everyday and he eats all the time. One day at a time, and he will get to come home. I go every day at noon to feed him and then I return at 7pm for his evening feeding and so much happens, then when I go in the next morning something else has happened. It's all positive, he's now in a big boy bed and he is going to graduate to the nursery very soon. I may get there tonight and he's already moved up. It all happens so fast. I am very thankful and I appreciate all the comments. Happy Birthday Klayton, Aunt Laura loves you!!!

Tyler's first few days

I am new to blogging so this may not be very organized but I love reading Kelly's so I thought I'd give it a try. Tyler John was born Sept. 12th at 4:35 p.m. and he weighed 3lbs. 12oz., 17 inches long. My water broke on the 9th at 4 am, very strange feeling if you've never been through it, I thought I wet the bed. I did some laundry and packed the baby's bag while John frantically put the car seat in the car. Tyler was only 31 weeks so we thought we had alittle more time. We got to the hospital about 6 am, the doctor put me on magnesium which makes you feel like you have the flu plus a stomach virus, but this bought Tyler some time so his lungs could mature. When they took me off that awful medicine I went into labor 12 hours later, after 3 hours of contractions, the doctor decided on a C-section and I gladly agreed. Tyler is doing very well, he is 9 days old, eating and breathing on his own and he is ready to move up to the "feed and grow" area. He is eating 8 oz a day. I couldn't be happier. I want to thank all of my family: Maw, Kevin, Kelly, and Klayton for all your support and coming to visit especially the "surprise" visit. Suzanne, Mimi, Popo, Dean and Zachie for all your support and always checking up on us. Nicole, Jacob, Annette and Charlie for coming down to visit and see Tyler. Dad and Renee for calling me to make sure everything was ok. Aunt Marion for the support as well. All the gifts have been great and I will keep blogging.
